More Penguins

A few views from my dorm room.

Brash ice has moved into Arthur Harbor and Hero Inlet.

Glacial blue.

Another hike over the glacier found more penguins. They are in the process of pairing before the nesting season.

Sunset from my dorm room.

Penguins "invading" Palmer Station on Gamage Point.

We had a combination Glacier Search and Rescue Team and Ocean Search and Rescue Team drill. I was at the helm of the rescue boat.

A recent glacier hike with Mt. William in the background.

  1. These are very interesting photos of the penguins up close and personal. They all look the same, sort of! I wonder how close you really can get to them? You look content playing the skipper of a rescue boat. They are lucky to have you there! Check out Jocelyn's Instagram post!
