Ice

Spectacular sunsets on Anvers Island.

My favorite photo subjects are icebergs.

Our chef cooked ramen noodles with all the fixings.

Thousands of years old bar ice. We collect bar ice and actually use them in the bar.

Pancake ice.

Detrich Island less than a mike from the station. This used to be covered by glacier ice. Then a few years ago the glacier ice collapsed and this new island was discovered.

Pancake ice forming from grease ice.

Another view of Dietrich Island.

Two of us went ashore on Hermit Island to explore. We set a stern anchor so the boat doesn't hit the island during a surge.

Hermit Island.

One of the many residents of Hermit.

One guarding our boat.
