Glacier Hike

I hiked over the top of the glacier down to the other side. A female elephant seal.

A dangerous crevasse.

The radio glacier sled that is one of my work stations. Mt. William in the background is about 18 miles away.

Sunrise. A few fur seals to the far left.

More fur seals.

This was a friendly one. Some fur seals bark if you come too close.

A cool view of Mt. William.

Ice caves.

The glacier edge.

Thousands of year old very compressed ice.

A fine day for a hike.
